Introduction
iR3 is a resource and demand management tool designed specifically for the fleet
and logistics operations.
Map showing job analysis for a specific location or area. It provides details of
the job and the resources used
It has six main components;
iR3 was developed out of a pilot project in 2006 which demonstrated both operational
benefits and audited cashable savings well above expectations. iR3’s philosophy
follows the Govt’s “Invest to Save” criteria
Now iR3 proves a innovative resource management product, made up of a basic framework
of proven software and reporting tools, which can be tailored for each public sector.
iR3 uses proven AVLS, ARLS technology linked to an organisation’s systems to provide
analysis of demand and resource requirements.
iR3 integrates data from scheduling, call handling, maintenance, logistics, service
and fleet management systems. Indeed it can take data feeds from most systems. iR3
provides job, tasking, demand and resource management reporting in near real time
and historically.
iR3 is both a work flow and an analytical tool providing operational managers with
a decision support tool to enhance service operations, improve resource utilisation
and response effectiveness.
iR3 allows analysis of various activities such as Job and Resource Density, are
our resources in the right place?

Job / Task Management
- Job Locations – where jobs or tasks have occurred – what type of jobs and do we
have the resources to meet the demand?
- Incident Density – the number of jobs or tasks in a location – are our resources
in the right place when needed?
- Job Replay – replays an job and shows which vehicles attended - very useful for
managing job allocation efficiency
- Vehicle Movement Density – the number of vehicle movements in a location
- Job versus Vehicle Movement Density – shows the density of incidents and the number
of vehicle movements within a specified location - matching resources to demand
- Trip Replay - replays specific vehicle trips - are we using our vehicles efficiently?
- Report Creator – allows the user to set up queries, reports and information requests
which once set up can be repeated automatically
iR3 has various map formats to provide clear analysis of key Jobs or tasks

jobs or service / contract requirements
- Response Times – reports on the average response times for key jobs or contracts
- manages responsiveness to SLA / contracts
